XPE/XPS PROFILE MANUFACTURING LINES

We can offer different solutions for profile production: single-screw extruders for small productions and co-rotating twin-screw extruders or Tandem systems for medium-high productions.
Polyethylene foam is a very flexible material that adapts perfectly to any type of shape. In the industrial packaging sector, these foam profiles are mainly used as protection, due to their high shock absorption capacity, for fragile materials such as glass, televisions, audio systems, computers and printers.
Polystyrene foam profiles, mainly used for interior decoration, are not flexible like polyethylene ones, but rather rigid. Extrusion lines for XPS profiles require, after the die head, a calibrator of sufficient length to calibrate the profile and gradually cool it.
