XPS SHEETS MANUFACTURING LINES

UNION extrusion lines for XPS sheet are equipped with a twin-screw rotary extruder for an hourly production of up to 350 kg and a Tandem system for an hourly production of up to 700 kg. It uses a circular extrusion die with external lip opening adjustment. The calibrator is composed of a cooling container for cooling the inner part of the sheet and a cooling ring for cooling the outer part of the sheet. The obtained XPS sheet is wound on a pneumatic expansion shaft, directly controlled by an inverter motor, Servosystem type, complete with gearbox. The lines can be integrated with laminating or coating systems capable of producing high-tech multilayer sheets.
